The course duration is one day, from 9am to 4:30pm

Our practical workshop seminar is intended primarily for developers, network planners and support engineers. It provides practically-oriented knowledge for the development of test procedures and error analysis in IT networks.

As an independent service provider we will provide objective criteria to enable you to establish the right approach to network analysis in modern broadband networks including IP, ATM, MPLS or VoIP.

The seminar will take place in the seminar center of EANTC.
The seminar group size is restricted to a maximum of four participants. This allows a constructive exchange between the delegates and the trainers. All seminars are generally held in English, although on request, they can be delivered in German. As a significant number of our delegates come from overseas, it should be noted that all of our seminar materials are in English.

• The different approaches to trouble-shooting in various kinds of networks: Observation and analysis of existing connections, analysis of data traffic
• Discussion of test methods for various fields of application including: IP, Carrier Ethernet, multi-service networks, MPLS
• Active analysis, load generation, QoS measurements, performance measurements
• Which type of measurement equipment is appropriate for which application? Introduction to emulators, load generators and protocol analysers
• Several analysers are available for the workshops, including: Navtel Interwatch 95000, Spirent SMB 6000 und AX4000, Radcom PrismLite, IXIA 1600, Spirent Abacus

EANTC Seminar Aims - For you to learn how to test the stability, performance and limitations of both modern networks and network components. You will also learn the different methods of error analysis and will be introduced to various unique testing procedures.
