Carrier Ethernet World Congress Test Event, September 2006

The Carrier Ethernet World Congress Interoperability event took place September 6-15, 2006.  A total of 16 leading vendors attended in EANTC's test lab in Berlin, Germany for what has been the largest Carrier Ethernet interoperability event to date.

EANTC's engineers in collaboration with Deutsche Telekom (T-Systems) and participating vendors developed a comprehensive test plan following industry best practices, Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF) standards, IEEE specifications and Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) RFCs.

The resulting network, supporting business and residential services such as VoIP and IPTV, was presented to the Carrier Ethernet World Congress delegates in Madrid, Spain.
