Workshop for designing and optimizing IPTV networks
Transporting TV content over IP technologies is becoming common place in most consumer markets in Europe, the Middle East, North America and Asia. The technology, commonly referred to as IPTV, is complex and involves an array of components, protocols and standards.
EANTC’s IPTV workshop provides a well rounded view into IPTV as a service, its concepts, all end-to-end aspects and its risks. We explore the reasons for its popularity but also the challenges for planning and designing an optimal IPTV typology. This workshop is aimed at designers and planners who already have basic knowledge of IPTV and a solid understanding of IP Multicast, MPLS and PSN.
Benefit from EANTC’s experience - You will enjoy the knowledge gained by EANTC’s experience in testing various industry leaders’ IPTV solutions, major networks and other hardware manufacturers. We will share our expertise in discussing your particular issues and decisions you may be facing at the moment. Prevalent questions and possible solutions will be considered.
The workshop will take place in the seminar center of EANTC.
The workshop group size is restricted to a maximum of ten participants. This allows a constructive exchange between the delegates and the trainers. All seminars are generally held in English, although on request, they can be delivered in German. It should be noted that all of our workshop materials are in English.
